Off in a corner fog spills from underneath a dark red curtain...it's just another sidelongroom.
then there is Sudden Myst...

A postcard lies upon the table covered in a year of dust, displaying a contrast to that of the room. A warm happy scene marred without a bit of dust placed earlier in the day sat there.

The placement had been perfect, and addressed to whomever took a fancy to it, and written upon the back were a few solemn words carrying a promise of something to come.

In a loose, flowing pen it said:
The re-opening of the bar known as the Phoenix's Lair will take place in 2 days. For those wishing to join, please show, with or without a date. The proprieter will be holding auditions for dancers, and if you are a dancer please inform the help if you wish to continue on with your job here. The bar is under some renevation, so mind the changes naught at the current time, all will be fixed. Also this will be a black tie event.

Nikoli walks in, looking around the place with fondness. He walks to the stage but stops short before climbing up. He turns and heads out but sees the postcard. He walks over, picks it up and reads it. A smile spreads across his weary face and life sparkles again in tired ice blue eyes...

Taeven walks in wearing a black pin stripe suit over a red wine shirt with a skinny black necktie flowing over his abdomen. Tears have been neatly made in his suit jacket to allow two dusty wings to make themselves known. Auburn bangs hide his bright blue eyes that peer out from the gold shadow of his brow.
"Ice, I hope you haven't made my bedroom into a bathhouse..." A soft melodic voice rings out over the surface of dust that's drowned the bar.

Nikoli looks up from the postcard. "A surprise, indeed." He smiles, bowing his head slightly to Taeven. "I'm nae sure m'Lady Ice is here at the present. Indeed, you're the only other one I've seen here so far. But then, I've just only arrived m'self."

"I aim to always suprise." Taeven nods and brings two fingers to his lips in acknowledgement, "This is my first time here in a long time... I figured I've been in the other world so long It's been time enough to appear again as an angel."

Nikoli nods. "I too have not been here in ... a long time." He smirks slightly. "But isn't an angel ... well ... an unusual choice for you?"

"Every demon longs to be a saint." Tae's eyes fall to the musty floor.

Nikoli sighs. "I meant no harm - it was an honest question, just a surprise to me is all." He shakes his head and heads to the bar, pouring himself a tall dark whiskey. "I need to just quit trying.", he mutters quietly, downing half the drink.

Taeven sits down at the bar too, ignoring the opportunity to pour himself a drink, "So this place is pretty rundown now isn't it?" then not waiting for an answer, "I can remember when the lot of us spent all of our time here..."

Nikoli smiles wryly. "Aye ... the good old days. Very old days." He takes another long swig of his whiskey.

Taeven turns and looks for leara.

Nikoli arches a brow. "Who are you looking for..?" He asks idly, knowing it's probably none of his business, but missing having someone to talk to.

"Oh no one..." he smiles at Niko, "Just that big breasted bimbo that used to throw herself all over anny!"

Nikoli shrugs. "Sorry - don't know who you mean."

2003-02-26 [Sotalean]: Well, not with certain things! When it comes to sketches you guys think that I'm modest but I'm NOT! It's just crap! But I don't mind writing about this sort of stuff as long as it doesn't get umm shall i say as bad as it did for two other people I know...

2003-02-26 [Leara]: ? .......you are modest with your drawings though! That one you had in english last week was like 'whoa' and all you could say was that you were starting to like it! I am modest sometimes...but I let ppl know when I am...you can tell by my face!

2003-02-26 [Sotalean]: haha! That's for sure. And I am starting to like it. It's not finished so how can I think it's awsome? I might when it's done but I don't know yet! ^_^ I don't know, maybe I am a bit modest but I don't htink that I'm that bad. When I say that I don't like on of my pictures I'm telling the truth! I set extremely high standards for myself and it can get really annoying sometimes!

2003-04-07 [Leara]: lol, maybe, but everytime you have him do something that Leara would get pissed about, before she has time to really get mad you have him say or do somethin to turn it around! And the thing about bad habits is that there addictive...especially the evil things. ^^;

2003-04-10 [MissTricky]: wow things...i seem to say that alot...but it's never good at what i mean...oo wierd thing today...for this demon im making this guy nick decided to fondel his horns....only because he thinnks they look like nipples. they really dont. if he thinks that then he obviosuly has seen some distorted nipples. i dunno just thought like sharing for a odd reason.
